BIOREVITALIZATION
True beauty lies in the beholder’s eyes
Biorevitalization involves the injection of low or medium molecular mass hyaluronic acid, amino acids, minerals and vitamins into the skin, using very small fine needles. Constant UV ray exposure causes direct damage to cellular DNA, production of free radicals which damage the cell membranes and activation of enzymes (MMP or metalloproteinases) which destroy the collagen fibrils in the skin. The skin’s regenerative ability slowly decreases with age, and so intervalled treatments that inject the base elements needed for the synthesis of new collagen visibly improve the skin. The skin’s homeostasis is reestablished and its physiological functions are improved. Small accumulations of the injected substances can be created in the skin, which act as reservoirs that are slowly released into the surrounding tissues, prolonging the effects of the therapy.
