The aging of the face is characterized by bone resorption, lowering and adipose tissues’ resorption, the skin collagen resorption (which causes wrinkles), and the presence of spots and fine facial capillaries. While the laser therapy is concerned with more superficial signs, the radio frequency needles tend to restore tone to the skin. Especially remarkable changes can be observed on the neck, and often also improvement melioration of the skin laxity. From the needles, inserted in the thickness of the skin, is freed up energy that causes tissue damage. This entails the production of new collagen in the skin, contraction of the existing collagen molecules, and finally to general tissue’s contraction.
