The lasemd is a fiber laser of 1927 nm (thulium) selective for water. The fractional emission of a wavelength (more than 0.1 mm for one microshot) creates micro-channels in the skin that allow the absorption and the diffusion of the active principles that are applied to the skin immediately after the laser treatment. The system is called CDS (Cosmeceuticals Delivery System). The affinity of this tullio laser with water causes an improvement of the pigmentation of the treated region through the simple exfoliation of the skin while the active ingredients stimulate the production of collagen and its protection from UV radiation. The penetration of this wavelength varies depending on the used energy from 100 to 250 microns.
